Charlie Foxtrot Company is top-down, mouse-driven squad warfare in your browser - high lethality, permadeath, and a grimly comic body count. One big clusterfuck. Built with Three.js (orthographic pixel-art rendering) and no build step. Click to move your group, hold right-click to lay down rifle fire, lob grenades and rockets, and split your men into fire teams so some advance while the rest hold and cover.
Terrain matters: wade the shallows and swim deep channels, use trees and long grass for cover, blow buildings, and brew up enemy trucks, jeeps, APCs and a tank. Permadeath is real - rookies die in one hit, veterans take more, and the fallen drop their weapons where they lie. There's a full meta loop too: a named, persistent roster, ranks and promotions earned through kills, a loadout screen where you kit each man - M16, AK-47, M60, M14 DMR or a silenced MP5, with rockets and an underslung 40mm grenade launcher for your specialists - and a Boot Hill graveyard that grows with every death. Click ENLIST to start (audio kicks in on your first click). Left-click moves the active group, which routes around water and walls. Hold right-click to fire toward the cursor; your squad also auto-fires at anything it can see. Each soldier has a numbered portrait along the bottom: press 1–6 to take command of one (tap more to build a fire team), Tab to command the rest, 0 to regroup. C drops the squad prone behind cover, V changes formation, G lobs a grenade (mind the friendly fire), X fires the underslung 40mm, T pops smoke, F looses a rocket that levels buildings, H toggles hold-fire, and R radios for extraction.
